Baby, it’s cold outside.

“Baaaaaby, I like this one!” said Haley pointing at a short and chubby pine tree. “Well then, this is the one we shall have,” Casey replied back as he squeezed his girl into his side. Haley smiled and rubbed her hands, “okay now what do we do?” “We put in on top of the car,” he said with a grin. This task would be both difficult and hysterical. Even the thought of the two of them cutting a tree down, taking it to the car, tying it down, and unloading it again at the house seemed to rumble up some laughter.

“You have mud on your face, babe.” Haley groaned and wiped the wet brown dirt off her nose, “this just seems so much easier in the movies.” She tossed the rope over to her boyfriend and opened the car door to tie it down (i’m totally guessing, i have no idea what to do with a REAL christmas tree). After they secured all ropes and double checked to make sure it wouldn’t slid off on the freeway, the couple brushed off the dirt and got in the car.

“I’m real glad we got the decorations BEFORE the tree, I’m pooped,” Casey said pulling up to a McDonald’s. They decided to order easy food so they could hurry up and eat and get home to start decorating. They pulled away from the drive thru window and Haley started passing out the food. She put the straws in their cups and took a sip of her sweet tea. Deeeeelicious, she thought. Haley handed Casey his Big Mac, “be careful. Don’t wreck us.” “I got this, babe,” he said digging in to his sloppy sandwich.

Anyone awake?

Nicole and I wanna start a new rp but we need some inspiration. Any good topics in mind? Anything at all?

Case and I spent our first night in our cozy little loft, last night!

It’s very home-y/Chicago-y feeling. All of my clothes and shoes and all of his instruments and movies! Plus, my sister bought us a neon light sign that says, “Chicago.” To remind us of our roots, to remind us of home. It’s old, the light flickers, and sometimes when it’s on too long it makes a buzzing sound.

But this little light fits perfectly in our ever changing lives. It holds real symbolism to us, as artists, individuals, and a couple. Our day to day lives will never again be constant, just like the neon lights that hang in our first home.
